Thank-you for the funding from the AB. government to our club! It's appreciateed!

Nate Glubish

Great to join the Strathcona Curling Club and celebrate their success in securing funding from Alberta's government.

The Strathcona Curling Club is a valued part of our community, providing opportunities for recreation, competition, and connection for curlers of all ages. Investments like this help ensure local organizations can continue serving residents and strengthening community life for years to come.

Congratulations to the club, its volunteers, and everyone who works hard to keep curling thriving in Strathcona County.

🥌 CALLING ALL CURLING VOLUNTEERS! 🥌

The Strathcona Curling Club is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help introduce school-age children to the fun of curling!

No need to be a professional curler — just bring your enthusiasm, patience, and love of the game. Volunteers will help children learn the basics, build confidence on the ice, and most importantly, have fun!

👧🧒 Who we're looking for:
• Experienced curlers who enjoy working with kids
• Parents, grandparents, and club members
• Anyone who wants to help grow the next generation of curlers

🥌 What you'll do:
• Help teach basic curling skills
• Assist children on the ice
• Encourage and support young curlers
• Help create a fun, welcoming experience

❤️ You don't have to be an expert — you just have to be willing to help!

If you can spare some time and would like to help introduce kids to one of Canada's great sports, we'd love to hear from you.
