Art has been an cornerstone of the Plaza Bowl family right from the very beginning. Over the years, his dedication, mentorship, and passion for the sport have impacted generations of bowlers across Newfoundland and Labrador. A lifetime spent coaching, guiding, and giving back to others makes this national honor so incredibly well-deserved.

Our fan-favorite Women & Wine league is back at Plaza Bowl, and it’s officially time to gather your squad for the ultimate girls' night out. Whether you’re throwing perfect strikes or strictly testing the durability of the gutters, we don't judge—the wine tastes the exact same either way! 😉

Starting September 13th, meet us every Sunday at 7:30 PM. Just $20 gets you two games of bowling and two alcoholic drinks. Bring your own crew of four or sign up solo and let us match you with your new best friends. Ready to swap cup-of-tea energy for a glass of pinot? Free Youth Bowling (YBC) is back at Plaza Bowl! Weekly games are completely free for kids ages 5 to 19, making it a fantastic opportunity for young bowlers of all skill levels to learn teamwork, build confidence, and make new friends in their age division. Participants even get the chance to compete in exciting provincial and national tournaments throughout the season.

Registration opens on August 31st, 2026, with games taking place every Saturday starting September 19th. Peewees and Bantams hit the lanes at 10:00 AM, followed by Juniors and Seniors at 12:00 PM. While the weekly bowling is free, there is a one-time $50 registration fee to cover provincial and national affiliation costs.
