Minutes for Life is an initiative led by PEI medical students, dedicated to making automated external defibrillators (AEDs) accessible 24/7 in communities throughout Prince Edward Island.

Through collaboration with local communities and organizations, we aim to expand access to lifesaving equipment and support community preparedness across the Island.

Over 7 weeks, the program combines education with guided group exercise to help you understand osteoarthritis, build strength, improve mobility, and develop practical strategies you can use outside the clinic too.

We started with some foam rolling, then did 3 sets of 12 reps of scratchies, all while assistant studio manager Don flirted I MEAN welcomed her with open paws. 🐾

✨ August 2026 Highlights ✨

I can honestly say…this summer has been a BLAST. I’ve feel like a lot of times we come into summer and say we’re going to do a lot of things, but then don’t. But nah, not this girl, not this summer. 🙌🏻

And while I have a few 2026 words to live by, summer 2026 is going to go down as financially we’re trending water, but in life we are pretty damn rich and lucky.

So let’s get into ‘er….

🍔Came back from Sea Isle and right back into work and FOODAPALOOZA with Julie Ann. It’ll have its own post because it deserves it. But Wednesday nights were filled with some of the most beautiful views and unreal weather.
🏊‍♀️ Our neighbours are the BEST and let us crash their pool whenever we’d like pretty much. We had some pool afternoons with the kids.
🌊 Wharf Ride 2026 with SPINCO CHARLOTTETOWN was another STUNNER of a day, and this year I took it in as a rider, which was nice, because I got to partake in the sauna and cold plunge from Nollaa Sauna Co.! If you haven’t experienced their setup yet, wait are you waiting for?!
🥒 Lenny’s garden started to flourish and we’ve been baking and cooking all the things! Look how proud he is!
☀️We traveled to Nova Scotia to visit Lenny’s Aunt and Uncle in Lake Echo. My God, what a beautiful slice of heaven they have. I drove a Seadoo for the first time, and the beagles loved the boat ride. Again, this weekend deserves its own reel!
🐶 My mother-in-law got a puppy! Meet Turner, the littlest fluff ball. I cannot handle the cuteness. I cannot wait for the boys to meet him once he’s cleared! But Lenny’s Mom has been glowing - dogs are the best companions.
🦇The 8th Annual Batman T-Shirt Party happened at the Richard cottage and again, the weather was perfect. The south shore with the tide out is a postcard for PEI summer. A tradition I always look forward to!

This also marks 1 year of these monthly recaps - and I’ve had a couple of you actually take the time to say you enjoy these, so thank you.

As Pitbull said….”Live life don’t let it live you.” - let’s continue that momentum into the rest of 2026!

✨ June 2026 Highlights ✨

June-uary wasn’t the best weather-wise, but I think we’ve made a turn now. I hope, anyway! A relatively quiet month of getting back into the grind and working to pay off those American bills (us self-employed folk don’t get vacation days). 👎🏻

⚖️🤓 Started off the month by getting a Body Composition Scan at ! This will get its own post…as it should. Also picked up some yummy goodies!
🌊🚶‍♀️Our first dips in the bay! My Zwiftie takes a back seat in the summer and my running is replaced by walks with the hounds. I got all year to run - summer here only lasts like 6 weeks.
👯‍♀️🦞 Dinner & drinks at with and ! Had my first lobster roll of the year and it didn’t disappoint!
🍻🍔 Visited the New location in PEI and enjoyed some food from the - if you’re a fan of fun seltzers, it’s a must!
🥰🥙 We had an awesome date night at - I need to go here more often! There’s a reason it’s always busy!
💪🏻⚡️I don’t post about it every month but I spent a lot more time than normal at this month, and every class just fills my cup. Tuesday/Thursday - ILY. 🫶🏻
🔥 🥳 First trip to Rustico to celebrate .gauthier being done lobster fishing and the start of FOODAPALOOZA 2026! Which this year will include all things bonfire food.
☀️🕶️ Looking forward to lots of sitting outside with my love and the hounds - I snuck a pic of Don pretending to like Daddy more than Mummy for a second.

Overall, June was about getting back into routine with workouts and meal prep, and work on work on work. My schedule lightens up in July and August, and I’m looking forward to more time outside, more walks, and some family time on the horizon! 🙌🏻

…NO it’s not me. I guess I should preface this post with that. 😅😅

But one of my clients took a trouble recently and well, turns out, it wasn’t “just a sprain”, she done broke her wrist.

Her: “F****!!”
Me in reply: “Sh****t!!”

After we collectively texted a 🌈 rainbow of expletives, we regrouped.

A setback, but we can work with this. 💅

As a hybrid client of mine, she visits me once a week, and then I program her via my app the rest of the week.

So this? Just a detour.

Some people will take 6 weeks and wallow in their situation, fuel their body like crap, and use it as an excuse to not move their body at all.

But FitLifers are built different. 😏😏

First, we give ourselves grace. Take time to rest, pause, and learn to work with one arm IRL.

While she did that, I stayed up late into the evenings and rewrote her programming so that we could focus on what was in our control - safely and effectively of course. 💁‍♀️

The girl even has ✨ new goals ✨ …maybe I should say redirected goals…based on this happening. She is speaking my love language. 😍

So when life hands you 🍋 lemons, or a broken wrist, the real VIPs are the FitLifers who trust me to keep them on track.

This isn’t an advertisement, this is motivation for you to roll with the punches (no pun intended) and don’t lean into your excuses.

Discipline > Excuses - remember dat.

…and for the love of God move your damn bodies!
