Meet Rylinn & Isabella, two gal pals with so much energy and fun! 🏈💕
Both girls said the best thing about playing football is meeting new friends. Isabella loves a good GoGo SqueeZ before and after sports, and Rylinn would eat a whole bag of Rainbow Goldfish in one sitting if left unattended.
Their Starbucks orders were easy:

🍓 Strawberry Açaí Refresher for Isabella
When asked about their favourite binge-watch shows and movies, Rylinn picked The Hunger Games while Isabella said 2 Broke Girls is a must-watch.
It was so much fun interviewing them, although I could tell it was almost past their bedtime 🤭 Thanks for the laughs, girls! Way to hustle out there 👊🏈

Jenna & Owen are siblings and have been playing football for 4-5 years(confirmed by mom!). They heard about football through their older brother Austin. Jenna says the person she looks up to the most is her dad and said he is always there for her. Owen said he looks up to his older sister the most - why? - Because she told him to say that and she was driving him home after the interview. Jenna would choose Crocs over Slides any day, but Owen is more of a Slides guy. TikTok dance for Jenna and Touch Down dance for Owen (back flip of course - ‘no big deal!’ ) While interviewing the two of them, I could tell the close bond they shared - respectful and kind to each other. Mom and dad should be very proud 🙏🏼❤️ It’s people like this we love having around the field and hope they stick around for years to come ! Thanks guys 🙏🏼🏈

Meet Lincoln - Linc’s been playing for 4 years now. He said his most memorable moment was running a 95 yards TD in tackle last season - Ahhhhh mazing! . His favourite athlete is Ashton Jeanty on the Raiders. The person he looks up to is his dad Petey! Hey, We know him!! Linc said he would do a touch down celly by spiking the ball. Crocs all day and Yougurt with Berries for his post game snack - yum! Linc’s advice to young kids coming up - keep working really hard! 👊🏼. Watch out for Linc on the field, he is fierce and fast! Go Linc Go! 🏈👊🏼

A huge thank you to the City of Thunder Bay for inviting us to attend Inspire Day at Lakehead University. It was amazing to see so many Grade 8 girls stepping outside their comfort zones and trying a variety of sports, including Flag Football.
Our U16 HP Surge Team represented our program proudly throughout the day, and we were especially excited to see one of our players recognized with a Leadership Award. It was also a great opportunity to spread the word about our new Female Only Flag Football Fall League at the Stadium.
What an incredible experience for everyone involved. Thank you again for allowing us to be a part of such a meaningful and inspiring event! 🏈👊🏼
