๐ If you happen to drive by and see fire trucks at the Centre today โ no need to sound the alarm ๐
Weโre not on fire and nobody is hanging out the windows waving for help! Weโre pleased to be providing our property as a training space while our local firefighters practice fire suppression skills in a wooded area. (You'll have to look VERY closely to see their hose and helmets in there!)
A big thank you to the Thunder Bay Fire Rescue firefighters who spend time preparing and training so theyโre ready when our communities need them. ๐จโ๐๐ฅ

We were disappointed to arrive this morning and find donations scattered all over our parking lot after someone went through the clothing bin overnight.
Weโre happy to support community services like this, but cleanup of it takes time away from the programs and activities our staff and volunteers are here to provide for the community.
If you use the donation bin, please help us keep the space clean and respectful for everyone using the centre and playground.
Weโll be keeping an eye on the situation and considering whether the bin can remain on site long-term if this continues.
Thank you to the many community members who use it thoughtfully and respectfully ๐
