As another skating season comes to a close, we want to send a huge THANK YOU to all of our skaters, families, coaches, Program Assistants, volunteers, and supporters for an incredible year at HESC ❤️⛸️

From first-time skaters finding their confidence on the ice to athletes achieving personal bests, this season was filled with growth, hard work, friendships, and so many memorable moments. We are so proud of everything our skaters accomplished this year!

Thank you for being part of our skating community and for helping make HESC such a positive and supportive place to learn and grow.

We hope everyone has a wonderful summer and we can’t wait to welcome you back to the ice this fall!

The Hillsburgh-Erin Skating Club is looking for a Director at Large to join our Board of Directors.

This is a great opportunity to get involved, support our skaters, and help shape the future of our club.

What does a Director at Large do?
This role is flexible and supports a variety of club activities, which may include:

* Assisting with events, competitions, and fundraisers
* Helping with planning and general club operations
* Bringing new ideas to enhance the skater and family experience

No prior board experience is required—just a willingness to get involved and contribute to our skating community.

A special thank you to our Program Assistants (PAs). You are role models on and off the ice — encouraging our younger skaters, building their confidence, and creating such a positive and welcoming environment. The impact you have is huge.

To every volunteer, board member, coach supporter, and parent who stepped up this season — thank you. This club simply wouldn’t exist without you.

Looking for something to do today? Join our skaters at Centre 2000 while they show off their moves at our Fire and Ice Showcase. Skaters take to the ice at 1pm. Entry is only $5 cash. Kids are free. Come support our local community.
