From Hart House hip-hop to the Toronto Tempo dance team U of T grad Justine Coroza found her footing as a work study student in Hart House's Hip-Hop Education program.

For alumnus David Arnot-Johnston, U of T is his home away from home, Hart House is at the centre of this, and music is the glue that holds it all together. He has directed the Singers for 20+ years, shining a spotlight on music from around the world, valuing the age of the group’s participants ‒ from 18 to 88 years old – and embracing a willingness to try new things.

Nearly a decade ago, U of T student Isaac Nikolai Fox oversaw "Demo Magazine" at Hart House. Today, the alumnus has launched his own publication, but he still finds time to mentor Demo’s next generation of student editors, who are, in turn, looking to inspire and uplift the future cohort.
