Reunited and it feels so good! ✨
Our Grade 8 Clementines have been making the most of their time in Edinburgh - discovering the city together, reconnecting with their exchange partners from St. George’s School, and immersing themselves in daily life with their host families. What an incredible experience it’s been so far!
Many thanks to the St. George’s team for sharing these special moments!

It was the official conclusion of another successful year at SCS at our 125th Annual Closing Ceremonies and Graduation last week! We gathered as a community for the last time this school year and celebrated the accomplishments of our students – and especially our amazing grads, the Class of 2026. Here’s a first look streetside and behind the scenes, prior to the festivities getting underway on stage at Massey Hall! We’ll be sharing more photos over the summer. 😊

Last week, several SCS students took their learning beyond the classroom and onto the water as they worked toward their Bronze, Silver, and Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award! 🛶
Over 4 days and 3 nights, the group journeyed from Bala to Minor’s Bay, navigating the route by canoe and portage. Along the way, they cooked over open fires, set up camp each night, and built confidence through every challenge.
Guided by two SCS staff and three Pinecrest certified guides, students not only strengthened their outdoor skills but also took time to reflect, practice gratitude, ask big questions, and enjoy the simple beauty of star-filled skies!

Our graduation ceremonies are officially underway! 🎓
Earlier today, we celebrated our incredible Grade 6 class at the Junior School Graduation Assembly - a special milestone shared with their proud families as they prepare to take the exciting next step into Grade 7 and Middle School. There was no shortage of smiles and laughter as Grade 6 teachers Mr. Jiminez and Ms Lamont took to the stage, sharing heartfelt (and often hilarious!) reflections on what they’ll miss most about this unforgettable group of students.
The Junior School graduates also delivered a moving rendition of "Memories" by Maroon 5, a tribute to the friendships they've developed and the moments they've created together.
Congratulations, Grade 6! We can’t wait to see all that you accomplish next.

Here’s to the next adventure for our grads! Post-secondary acceptances for the amazing Class of 2026 have been rolling in for quite a while now (as they do each year)! We’re thrilled to share that all 69 of our graduates have officially decided where they’ll be heading next. While we look forward to celebrating and sharing their final destinations with our community at the 125th Closing Ceremonies and Graduation in less than a week’s time, we congratulate them today on the many offers they have received!

It was a tea-riffic afternoon at 21 St. Clements as our Grade 1 students hosted the annual Grade 1 Tea Party for some very special guests! With delicious desserts, tiny sandwiches, glasses of refreshing pink herbal ice tea, and warm conversation, everyone enjoyed a delightful time together. The Grade 1 students also took the opportunity to express their appreciation for the many staff members who help make SCS such a special place each day. 🫖🥪
