Student Athletes Featured: Olivia & Emilia from City Above Elite girls team.

On July 31st, I attended the City Above Showcase for girls 3x3 Classic.

Here's my interview with two of the athletes.

On the court they are skilled with high ball IQ and make playing the game enjoyable.

Thank you ladies for chatting with me. Good luck to them next season both on the court and in the classroom.

The 4th Annual Point Goddess Celebrity Women Empowerment Event was more than just an event. It's a celebration of women uplifting women through leadership, sports, business, and community.

Aligning with the founder KJ's vision of creating a spaces for young female athletes by connecting them with other women within the basketball community. This annual event brings the community together.

This year included a carefully planned and thoughtful hair braiding station, Toronto Tempo locker room experience with photo ops, food truck, vendors, merch and of course networking and connections with other members of the ball community.

Even on a very shaky inclement weather day, the love and support was there with massive turn up of players, parents and community support.

Congratulations again to the Point Goddess team for another successful event and thank you for your role in helping our community grow.

Women Empowerment Day c/o The Beacon Management Group

One thing I know is the basketball community may look big but it's even smaller when you realize how connected we are.

Thank you to the Beacon Management The Beacon Management team for hosting us at their 3rd Women Empowerment event.

Starting with attending my first Toronto Tempo game, this day was filled with great conversations with some of the most impactful women, genuine empowerment, lots of laughs, great memories and most of all food and vibes.

For me learning never stops and these events are always a reminder that we're more powerful when we work together and when motherhood and sisterhood are respected, welcomed and supported in the basketball ecosystem - incredible things happen.

More importantly - things get done.
