Almost every woman knows how to be everything to everyone all the time (except herself). Most are unaware that it CAN be different, slower, softer, and with fewer obligations. I learned the hard way, but you don't have to.

Midlife can feel like being tossed about in a rock tumbler.
It’s loud, you get banged around, you don’t know which way is up, and it feels like it goes on and on forever.
When the tumbling finally stops, you emerge with softened edges, a new shape, vibrant colours, and a shiny, polished finish.
You are a whole new You, the true You.
A You no one expected, and yet they can’t help but admire your transformation (even if it makes some people uncomfortable).
Midlife: This is your time to figure out who you truly are.

What If Doing Less Is the Upgrade?
Investing in myself does not have to mean skill development, a certification, or mental and physical support. Investing in myself can include a deeply personal, soothing, quiet time that does not aim for a measurable outcome.

"My definition of resilience has always been about how well I respond to what Life throws at me. I don’t mean how many punches I can take and keep going. I mean, how well I have maintained myself so that when Life becomes tumultuous, my foundation remains unshaken."
You Don’t Need to Push Harder
Why resilience isn’t about doing more, but about supporting yourself differently.

“I had enough. All my needs were met, and yet, I wasn’t satisfied.
I didn’t need more. I needed my life to be different.
The trouble was that I couldn’t define ‘different’.”

International Women’s Day 2026
Together, we can create a new future, a new reality where we all benefit from gender equality.
This year’s IWD campaign is “Give To Gain”.
Encouraging generous, collaborative intentions through new perspectives on the good we can gain when we focus on the power of acceptance, respect, and reciprocity. Understanding and appreciating our differences is an expansive and formidable way forward.

“What do you find risky?
Is it scuba diving, travelling alone, day trading, being called ‘extra’, switching careers, starting over in a new city or country, or ending your marriage?
I’ve done all of the above except one.
These risks were intentionally chosen, and they all paid off as lessons or exceptional experiences.
However, the only way to know the outcome was to bet on myself and accept the risk.”

"Many people truly struggle to surrender to what is, to give themselves grace and compassion, and to ask for time to slow down.
They see time as something they afford to others or to work and obligations.
Giving themselves time feels beyond their current ability. The muscle to do so has atrophied. “I don’t have time for that” runs like a waterfall from their lips."
