A RECORD YEAR FOR OUR GOLF COMMUNITY! ⛳️
As we look back on the season , we’re incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished together and grateful for golf community
📈 We welcomed a record number of members, achieved record league participation—with especially strong growth in our ladies’ leagues—and hosted more events than ever before
🏗️ Investing in Our Course. This year we completed our new maintenance building and invested in a large expansion of our parking lot. This marks the third parking expansion in five years—a true reflection of how much our golf community continues to grow!
🏆 Celebrating Member Success- Congratulations to Tyson Ehnes on winning the Elmhurst Invitational and earning the opportunity to compete at the Canadian Mid-Amateur! We also congratulate Tyson and Mark Rasmussen on winning the net division of the Golf Manitoba Four-Ball Championship for the second consecutive year. An outstanding achievement! 👏
🎗️ Giving Back Through Golf Drive for the Cure we have now surpassed $100,000 raised for cancer research since its launch in 2017! A huge thank-you to our golfers, sponsors, donors, volunteers, staff and committee members who made this milestone possible.
In July, Corey Jonasson, ClairewayGolf and GM Gareth Tanswell completed a 100-hole challenge in support of the Canadian Cancer Society. Thank you to everyone who donated and cheered us on! ❤️
🎥 Bringing Manitoba’s Golf Community Together We were proud to co-found and host the inaugural Manitoba Golf Creators Invitational alongside Cojo Golf and Claireway , bringing local creators, media and business personalities together for a day of golf, competition and connection.
🌟 Community Recognition We were honoured to be on the 2026 Golf Manitoba Community Builder Honour Roll. This recognition reflects the collective efforts of everyone helping us introduce new people to golf, support meaningful causes and create opportunities for our community to connect.
None of this happens without you. ❤️
To our members, staff, volunteers, sponsors, event organizers thank you for being part of another incredible season. Here’s to an even bigger and better 2027! See you on the course! ⛳️

Well that a wrap for our 2026 golf season, and as we reflect on the year, there is a great deal to celebrate—and even more to be thankful for.

First and foremost, we want to recognise the people whose hard work made this season possible.
To our grounds team, thank you for keeping the golf course in fantastic playing condition throughout the season. Your dedication and the work that happens behind the scenes make a real difference to everyone who plays here.

To our clubhouse team, thank you for consistently going above and beyond to welcome our customers and provide excellent service. When we read our reviews, two things come up time and again: the condition of the course and the friendliness of our staff. That is a credit to your efforts, and something our entire team should be proud of.

To our kitchen team, thank you for helping deliver one of our best restaurant seasons while supporting the busiest events calendar we have ever had. From everyday service to tournament meals and special occasions, your contribution has been an important part of this year’s success.

To our marketing team, thank you for sharing what makes Lorette special, growing our presence across social media and helping bring new golfers and events to the course.

And to our volunteers and league organisers, thank you for giving your time, energy and enthusiasm. You play an essential role in our operation and in building the community that makes Lorette such an enjoyable place to spend time.

As we close the season, thank you to every member, customer, league participant, event guest and supporter who chose to spend time with us this year. Whether you played every week or visited for a single round, you were part of what made 2026 such a memorable season.

We are proud of the progress we have made and grateful for the community behind it. We look forward to building on that progress and welcoming you back in 2027.

Warm regards,
Gareth Tanswell
