Were are going to have a BBQ, cold snacks from 49 Below Craft Ice Cream, frosty beers from Hoyne Brewing Co. and NA options from Category 12 Brewing. All proceeds from food, beverages, and raffle ticket sales are going to support the amazing advocacy organizations and all the work they do.

The shop will be closed for Canada Day on Wed. July 1st. Our team will be enjoying a staff ride for the holiday, then we’re back at it on Thurs. July 2 at 10am!

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to the Oak Bay Bikes Jump Jam and made it such a great event. From first-timers to seasoned riders, it was awesome to see so many people riding, cheering each other on, and throwing down.

A special thank you to northsaanichfreeridepark for hosting us and helping everything run so smoothly, to Thrifty Foods for keeping everyone fed, and to Norco Bicycles for supplying the Rampage DJ frameset that one lucky rider took home.

Big thanks as well to our guest judges, Mark Matthews and Vaea Verbeeck, for bringing the stoke, sharing their time, and helping make the day so memorable.

A few details for anyone planning to join us at the Oak Bay Bikes Jump Jam this Saturday at North Saanich Freeride Park.

The park opens at 10:00 AM, with registration and practice throughout the morning. The rider meeting takes place at 11:00 AM, and judging and contests kick off at 12:00 PM, starting with the Youth Pump Track before moving through the Blue, Black, and Pro jump lines. We’ll finish the day with Best Trick and a Whip-Off to close things out.

Whether you’re riding, spectating, or bringing the family, everyone is welcome. We’ll have a free BBQ, raffle prizes, giveaways throughout the day, and plenty of incredible riding to watch.

A reminder that all riders will need to complete a waiver before participating. Riders under 18 will require a parent or guardian signature.

We’re also looking for a few volunteers to help with parking, rider check-in, the BBQ, and general event support. If you’d like to lend a hand, please email [email protected]
