We’re excited to officially launch the Oak Bay Bikes Ambassador Program and welcome our first ambassador, Clay Webb.

Born and raised on Vancouver Island, Clay has always had a deep connection to the outdoors. After spending most of his childhood outside, it’s no surprise he’s gone on to spend the last two decades as an outdoor educator and guide, helping others discover the same passion for adventure and nature.

When he’s not out building community through local rides and events, you’ll usually find him chasing endurance challenges. From Everesting Observatory Hill to riding 500 continuous kilometres at UVic, Clay has quietly earned legendary status in the local cycling scene.

More than anything though, Clay represents what we love most about riding here - community, passion, adventure, and inspiring others to get outside on two wheels.

We’re proud to have him as an Oak Bay Bikes Ambassador.

Since 1934, Oak Bay Bikes has been part of Victoria’s cycling story.

From local road races to weekend group rides, road cycling has always been woven into the fabric of this shop and this community. We’ve watched generations of riders push the pace on the same roads we still ride today.

Leading the program is Fabian Merino - RMT, instructor at Camosun College, and an experienced racer with over a decade in road, cyclocross, and XC racing.

Another awesome night of racing at the iconic Windsor Park Crit on Sunday for Race #2 of the Victoria Cycling League. 🚴‍♂️ 💨

Fast corners, all-out attacks, and some seriously close racing made for an exciting evening. Great turnout from the crew at and amazing to see so many riders out pushing the pace and supporting local racing.

Our bike fitter was trackside capturing all the action from the A race, and absolutely nailed these shots. 📸

We took the Orca and Orca Aero out around Victoria and they absolutely came to life.

The Orca feels quick and responsive, perfect for climbing and long rides. The Aero adds that extra speed and efficiency when you want to push the pace.

Safe to say… we’re pretty excited to have this brand in the store.
