we will be hosting an OPEN HOUSE for our FOUNDER STUDENTS

9:00 am | BROOKLIN BUDDIES (Ages 5-7)
10:00 am | FUNDAMENTALS & NOVICE STUDENTS (Ages 8+)
11:00 am | INTERMEDIATE & ADVANCED STUDENTS (Ages 8+)
12:00 pm | TEEN / ADULT: HITT & KICK BAG WORK (Ages 14+)

While the students are having fun with the coaches on the floor,
Sabumnim Jean-Luc will meet with the families to discuss program options so you are all set to level up your training in the Fall.

Those that become reality are game changers.

The inaugural Youth Muay Thai and Kickboxing Expo was exactly that.

More than 200 young athletes attended this groundbreaking event, spending a full day learning from some of Canada’s top coaches with technical seminars, cooperative games, team-building activities, and educational sessions for athletes, parents, and coaches alike.

Participant from ages 6 to 18 from across Ontario in what was truly a first-of-its-kind event. With athletes and coaches from Karate, Taekwondo, Kung Fu, Muay Thai, MMA and other martial arts, the Expo created an environment where collaboration replaced competition and diversity became a strength.

The opening ceremonies recognized the WAKO Canada Junior National Team in the final stages of preparation for the WAKO World Junior Championships this September in Italy. WAKO Canada President Muzammal Nawaz delivered an inspiring keynote, reminding athletes of the true measures of success.

The Expo was organized through the outstanding collaboration of four of WAKO Canada’s most active clubs—Elevation, KALSAMRIT, Muay Thai Whitby, and SAGA. Their leadership, teamwork, and meticulous planning resulted in THE event that established a new benchmark for grassroots athlete development.
WAKO Canada was proud to support the Expo as a sponsor but and an organization that believes deeply in investing in children and youth and fostering cooperation across clubs and martial arts.

WAKO Canada congratulates every coach, volunteer, parent, and athlete who contributed to making this vision a reality. Special recognition goes to the event’s organizers for demonstrating that true leadership is measured not simply by what we achieve for our own clubs, but by what we build together for the benefit of the entire community.

At a time when it is easy to focus on what separates us, events like the Youth Expo remind us of something far more powerful: when we unite around a shared purpose, we create opportunities that inspire the next generation and strengthen the future of our sport.
