I go to Winnipeg for one weekend and I make not one, but TWO new ‘Peg City Park Scavenger Hunts!

❓Did you guess where this one was before the reveal?

The Lakeview Trail at Birds Hill Park contains my favourite section of the whole place - the cedar woodlands on the section north of the parking lots.   The approximately 7 kilometre trail is paved the entire loop (the trail between Birds Hill Lake and Kingfisher Lakes is gravel), so you can walk, run, ride or roll with ease!

🛶 One week ago we woke up for the first time in our new home in Manigotagan!

It was a lot of work for a few days getting the place nice and clean, hauling our stuff inside, and organizing everything. There’s still a lot to do, but we’re so excited to be living right on the river!

I already had a handful of girlfriends out for the weekend while Kyle was in the city at a chess tournament, and we had a great time. We swam, floated from Wood Falls to our dock, had a dock party and a bonfire, and ate way too much good food.

We have many more guests coming up this month and we can’t wait to make more memories here in our new home in Manitoba!
