A tribute to the connecting power of art
With "Kala Chakra," the Swiss-Indian artist family Keshava Jenny, their Basel-based dance ensemble Kalasri, and a group of Tamil-Swiss musicians bring classical Indian dance to the stage of Theater Chur. Mythological deities from Indian art history and the dancers' personal stories intertwine into a colorful mosaic – beginning a sensual journey through time, space, and cultural identities.
