When you breathe diaphragmatically, your breath moves down, not up into the chest.
This naturally activates your transverse abdominis, the deepest core muscle, often called your body’s natural corset.
The transverse works together with the diaphragm, pelvic floor, and deep back muscles to :
• stabilize the spine
• support the lower back
• improve posture
• create efficient, pain-free movement
When the transverse is engaged through breath :
– your core becomes stronger without tension
– your posture feels lighter and more upright
– your movements feel more stable and controlled
