Week 2️⃣ of training in China! 🇨🇳

First few day back at our training base in Yuxi! 🇨🇳 Getting stuck in and enjoying training with the team, daily sunshine, dumplings and good coffee! 🏊🏼‍♀️🚴🏼‍♀️🏃🏼‍♀️🥢☀️☕️ Feeling excited for the weeks of hard work to come!😊

Really enjoyed my time at home and time with friends and family, i’ll miss you!!🫶🏻🥰😍🥹

July: 7th at Challenge Roth - bucket list race that did not disappoint🇩🇪
July:🥈at Alpe d’huez Long Distance - This podium ment a lot after many tries there
August:🥈at Embrunman and over 30 minutes faster than last year
September: 5th at 70.3 Zell am See (Ironman Pro Series)🏅
September:🥈at Gerardmer XL and the last of 4 big and great races in 5 weeks
October: Heat camp with Julie in Guam😊
October: 🥈to Julie at the Guam National Triathlon (Olympic Distance)
October: IRONMAN World Championships in Kona, 26th place with things to do better next time🌺
November: Ironman 70.3 World Championships in Marbella, finished although very ill and secured a Pro Series Bonus 🏅
December: Back in China to do it all again in 2026 🇨🇳

This year was more than I could have ever expected! There were high highs and some low lows but it was a great year and I am just glad I took a chance at the beginning of the year. Thanks to everyone who has supported me on this journey, could not do it without Yann, the fam, my coach and my sponsors and supporters.🫶🏻

January: Stepped away from my other job in research to become a full-time triathlete for the first time

May:🥉at Yangtze River Delta International Triathlon (Olympic Distance)
May:🥈at 70.3 Chongming (Shanghai) and Marbella-Slot
June:🥇🏆 at Challenge Gdansk, Poland - First victory in a loooong time

Had to take it a bit easier during the first couple days here in China to get over illness + travel🙃🫠
Good thing they have scooters, flowers and good coffee here🛵🌷☕️
Glad to be on an upwards trajectory now🏊🏼‍♀️🚲🏃🏼‍♀️
