Zürich city September 19th, outing with hubs.
We love tram-hopping, walking to discover new & old parts of the city we call home.

From Römerhof up to the Dolder bahn & Hotel, strolling down with beautiful views of the lake, woods & Uetliberg in the distance.

Lunch at Vietnamese bistro, Korean ice-cream, more tram hopping, & meandering New Market area behind Niederdorf. The Opera house was open to the public this weekend, allowing us to see how beautiful the theatre is inside. A first-time visit for us.

It was a gorgeous day to be out.

After years of suffering with eczema as a kid, which went into my adult years, I never wanted to see someone go through those difficulties if i could help them.

Over the past 20 years, whilst using aromatheraphy essential oils based products, I went one step further in Zürich to create the Essentially Lili brand of all-natural skincare range in 2015.

My skincare helps to keep skin hydrated, nourished & and rejuvenated. I also created a range to help specific issues including eczema, psoriasis, acne, warts sunspots and discolouration.

The range only contains natural ingredients like Cocoa and Shea butters, oils like Rosehip, Evening Primrose, Coconut, Almond, Baobab, Argan, Sunflower and Calendula, with Essential Oils like Lavender, Sandalwood, Frankincense, Myrrh, Lemon & Cypress.

I've been wearing Nourishing Face Balm for approximately 16 years, all year round. When the weather is too hot, I keep my jar in the fridge! My skin feels wonderfully soft, hydrated, and rejuvenated.

I also wear Wearing Frankincense Face Serum & Cool Eyes for my over 50s skin, swapping for Diamond Era Serum occasionally, as well as using the Cypress Cleansing balm or the Sunflower Cleanser in the evening.

Zürich city September 12th... it was warm enough for some to be swimming in the lake and Limmat River.
The Autumn colours are subtly appearing, though the sunshine shows the vibrant green water & vegetation.

From Landesmuseum to the Old town where the Münster's towers are being restored. Gorgeous day to stroll & meander this beautiful city.

Last Day 3 in wonderful Rome.
Parted ways with my friend whose onward adventures will continue.
Discovered other parts of Rome I hadn't seen before, including Via Sicilia, Via Calabria, Porta Pia, and more Roman walls still holding their place.

A few wardrobe changes were required due to the muggy weather, but it was well worth the excessive steps walked these few days. (20K steps /12.5 kms x 2) Only 15K /9kms done from this morning!!!

Ending with pics leaving Fiumicino Airport and some Swiss landscape... I never get tired of that gorgeous view!!

Sometimes, in life's journeys, we are blessed to find people who are more than what any doctor could have ordered... friendship, love and genuine care for you, your family and vice-versa.
It's like time stands still, and we're able to carry on from where we last saw each other 1.5 years ago back home in Australia 🇦🇺. Everyone needs that in their lives, blessed are those who have a whole lot more.

Life is too short for the non-carers & drama. Live life, love life, be the best versions of yourselves for your own peace of mind.

PS. Wearing Nourishing Face Balm despite the constant need to wipe the heat off myself.

Part 2... one of the best places in the world is ROME, Italy 🇮🇹 perhaps not in the middle of summer, as it's a melting pot!!!

We were the accidental tourists, constantly discovering hidden gems in this wonderful city, including Trastevere across the river.

I'm lucky to have some of the bestest mates from Oz/Australia... friends since 1987, getting lost together, being separated & refinding each other, laughing exploring eating walking, metro & bus-hop-on-offing for 48 hours. Best girlie weekend ever...
