Safety first, every stroke. 🟠

A safety buoy is mandatory for all distances at the Pissouri Edition, from the Kids & Juniors races to the 8KM.

Your buoy keeps you visible to our safety crew and kayaks out on the water, and gives you something to hold on to if you need a breather. Clip it to your waist, let it trail behind you, and swim your race.

No buoy, no start, so make sure it's in your race bag. 📌

Every second counts. ⏱️

Your timing chip records every stroke of your race at the Pissouri Edition. A chip that's fitted wrong can mean a missing time, so take a minute to get it right before the start:

Place the band with the text "Swim, Cycle, Run" facing up
• Centre the foam gap on the ankle, with a spacer on each side
• Leave room for two fingers between the band and the ankle
• Avoid overlapping the foam tags
• Handle it with hands clean of sunscreen or other products
• Keep the tag outside all clothing (wetsuits, neoprene boots, etc.)

Save this post for race day and share it with your training buddies. 📌
