Formula Student Team of the Hamburg University of Technology e-gnition is made up of over 70 highly motivated students from the Technical University of Hamburg.
As part of Formula Student, an electric and autonomous race car has been developed, constructed and tested every year since 2011. At the end of the year, we compete against teams from all over the world in the Electric and Driverless classes. Formula Student is the largest engineering competition in the world. Around 800 teams with a total of over 40,000 members compete year after year to develop

Our egn26 had its Maiden Voyage just two days ago!
While some parts of the car had to be taken off, having driven the first meters and rounds marks an incredible milestone for our team in this season.

🥂 Exactly one week ago, we celebrated the Rollout of the ! 🥂
This was the moment we've all been working for - and it showed:
The incredible team spirit with 90 team members on stage, setting a new record of active members, as well as more than 500 guests attending last week makes for an amazing show and aftershow! ⚡️
We were very happy to welcome Ralf Grote from as well as other sponsors to our stage! To all our sponsors, supporters, alumni, families and friends: A heartfelt "THANK YOU" for your ongoing support, patience and assistance. We really appreciate your help in making our dream come true.
