Anna Maria’s brave woman is her mother Maria Magdalena. Who is your brave woman?

She raised me alone in communist Romania—as my mother, protector, provider, and strength all at once. She never had the choice to give up. She just kept going, for me.
Bravery isn’t always dramatic. Sometimes it’s a mother waking up every morning and doing everything she can to give her child a better life. Sometimes it’s being scared but continuing anyway.
My mom taught me that kind of bravery without explaining it. Her story began in Romania, but I know women everywhere understand what it means to be strong for the people you love.
Now her word travels to a woman in Kenya. This red thread connects women who may never meet—but we all know what brave looks like.
