An amazing post from PADI Women’s Day…💙🤿🫧

Yesterday I did something that genuinely scared me… 🌊💙 PADI Women’s Dive Day 🐠 @aquariusdivingclubsharm I’ve never been scuba diving before. If I’m honest, I was really nervous. Swimming has never been my strongest sport, and the thought of breathing underwater felt completely overwhelming. Yesterday, thanks to the incredibly kind team at Aquarius Diving Club at the Coral Sea Sensatori in Egypt, I faced that fear. They had kindly invited me to experience my very first dive as part of their campaign encouraging more women to discover scuba diving, and I couldn’t have asked for a better introduction. A huge thank you to my instructor, Hesham. When I started to panic, he calmly held my hands, smiled and said, “Just breathe… it’s like meditation.” Those simple words changed everything. Once I relaxed and trusted the process, I was able to experience the incredible underwater world waiting just off the jetty. The coral reefs were absolutely breathtaking, full of colour and life, and it felt like stepping into a completely different world. As a coach, I spend my days encouraging women to step outside their comfort zones. Yesterday, it was my turn. Growth doesn’t happen when we stay comfortable. It happens when we choose courage, even when we’re scared. I’m so proud that I said yes. And I have to say how proud I am of Leo too. ❤️ Watching him so calm, confident and completely in his element underwater was amazing. He absolutely loved every second, and seeing his confidence gave me even more belief that I could do it too. If you’re staying at the Coral Sea Sensatori and have ever thought about trying scuba diving, I couldn’t recommend the Aquarius team enough. Their patience, professionalism and encouragement made all the difference, and they turned something I was genuinely afraid of into one of the highlights of our holiday.
