Yin and Tonic Yoga Afternoon

An afternoon of self care to slow down, relax and take time to appreciate the small things. The afternoon will include Yin and Restorative Yoga poses, pranayama (breathing practices) to relax the body and calm the mind and a guided relaxation. 🌟 Yin/Yang Yoga 🌟
Wednesday’s 12:30-1:30pm
New block starts on Wed 15th April
Your midweek reset. A mixture of movement and stillness. This class allows you to stretch your body and relax your mind. Includes pranayama (breathing techniques), gentle flowing movement, Yin postures and a long relaxation to fully rest and restore.
Yin works deeply into the body with passive, longer-held poses typically for 2-5 minutes. Yin yoga can increase flexibility, improve joint mobility and release tension in the fascia.

🌟 Beginners Yoga 🌟
Tuesdays 7:15-8:15pm
New block starting on Tuesday 14th April.
This class is suitable for absolute beginners, those wishing to brush up on the basics or those that are coming back to yoga after a break.
Each week we’ll gently warm up before focusing on a basic yoga pose and/or transition between poses. Class will also include pranayama (breath work) and relaxation.

This week Mother Nature has forced us to slow down. While it’s not what we might have planned, it’s also not a bad thing. Winter is a time to rest and slow down.

So let’s embrace these snow days -
Prioritise rest and don’t feel guilty about it. Embrace stillness and be kind to yourself.
Spring is natures new beginning and with it more energy will come but for now rest and recharge.
