Today our young Loch Lomond Rugby Club players will be down at Co-op Balloch from 10am–2pm, helping shoppers pack their bags and raising funds for the club.

Our youth section is growing — and that’s exactly what we want. But to keep giving every child the time, attention and experience they deserve, we need more people to get involved as coaches.

And here’s the important bit…

You do NOT need to be a rugby expert. 🙌

We’re looking for mums, dads, family members and anyone within our community who would be willing to give a little of their time to help our young players learn, grow in confidence and enjoy being part of the club.

🏉🌏 FROM LOCH LOMOND TO GLASGOW WARRIORS… AND NOW AUSTRALIA! ❤️💛🇦🇺

A huge good luck from everyone at Loch Lomond Rugby Club to former Lomond Mini Duncan Munn, who is currently over in Australia playing his rugby with the Norths Eagles.

Duncan’s rugby journey began right here with Loch Lomond Minis, before going on to represent Glasgow Warriors — and now he’s taken his rugby to the other side of the world. What a journey! 👏

Tonight, Duncan lines up at 13 for Norths Eagles as they take to the field in their Major Semi Final. 💪🏉

Seeing someone who started out in our Minis go on to pull on the Glasgow Warriors jersey and continue playing the game in Australia is something our whole club can be incredibly proud of — and hopefully a bit of inspiration for the next generation of young Lochers coming through today.

Everyone back home at LLRFC will be cheering you and the Eagles on, Duncan!

The Loch Lomond/Helensburgh 1XV are on the road this Saturday as they head to Fort Matilda to take on Greenock Wanderers in our latest pre-season fixture.

Another strong squad is ready to pull on the jersey as preparations for the new season continue. 💪
