We're proud to be featured in SSE's Community Investment Review 2025/26 (page 46). Thanks to support from the SSE Community Fund, The Alyth Bowling and Tennis Club received £12,500 to help fund new fencing and cleaning and repainting the tennis courts including adding two pickleball courts.

The Club and its members contributed the remaining amount in order to complete the works so we thank our members for all of their support.

This was one of many projects supported through SSE's community investment programme, which awarded £24.9 million to communities last year. Together, we're helping create lasting positive change and stronger, more resilient communities.

Yesterday we held our internal junior competition. In the round robin stage the standard of bowling was simply incredible and credit to you all. When the dust settled the final was contested between Olivia and Rohan, again some amazing bowling and it was a great final with Rohan edging away to take the title. 👏🏼

Well done to everyone who played in our Junior Club Tennis Championships today especially those who have never played a tournament before. Great play, fantastic sportsmanship and you all supported each other to score and play throughout the whole day. ☀️ 🎾 🎉 🤩👏

It was the turn of the Ladies handicap final and Angie Robertson was the winner. Wendy Mitchell found her feet and had a good comeback but Angie was the victor with a full house end to lift the trophy. Well done Angie 👏👏

Some great bowls played tonight in the Gents pairs final. Sean Thomson and Michael Fleming put up a great fight but the honours went to Sandy Tosh and George Annan. Great to see the support tonight from members and other spectators

A great final was played last night in the final of the Gents Scottish Rinks. Rohan Milne, Hamish McKelvie, Chic Milne and Peter Hosie didn’t get over the line. The trophy was lifted by Mark Milne, Michael Fleming, Sandy Tosh and Ian Strachan. Well done to the winners and commiserations to the runners up. I can’t believe you were harsh enough to beat your laddie, Milsy 😂😂
