Aylesbury hosted the last Bucks Women’s Afternoon of the year. There was a great turnout of women from across the county who came to play friendly games. A great afternoon on court was followed by an end of season awards presentation.

Certificates were awarded to division winners:
Div 1 - Wycombe Nightingales
Div 2 - Tring 2nd Team
Div 3 - Wendover Swans

The teams voted as Top Hosts were:
Div1 - Tring 1st Team
Div 2 - Wycombe Swifts
Div 3 - Aylesbury Rowans

6 players from teams across the county were also recognised as Most Improved Players.

It was a fantastic celebration of women’s squash, with a great get together over refreshments to round off the afternoon. Thanks to all who came and congratulations to all the winners.

On Saturday we hosted our annual Squash Exhibition Evening. Club favourite Mohamed ElShorbagy returned along with Karim Abdel Gawad! The pro’s spent the day on court with our juniors and played our members Jack and Johnny. They then played each other in a hugely entertaining finale, followed by a Q&A session. Huge thanks to both pros for their time - as always it is amazing to see their skills and talents up close!

Thanks to Tom and all the exhibition committee for organising the evening and a big thank you to all the squash fans who attended - many from clubs across Bucks. 😀

A fantastic finale to the Chairman’s Cup season. A lot of close, well fought games that saw Vikings take the cup from the Dragons and Lions taking 3rd place from the Eagles. 🏆

Thanks to all the teams, the captains for their organisation and the chefs for all the great meals. 🍴
