Next Weeks Banbury United Lottery draw will be held at Elite 8 Ball Lounge, and it's a rollover with the Jackpot up to £1,500.

A HUGE thanks to everyone who turned up for the 2026 Andy Schweitzer Charity shield. Between the entry fees and a donation from the The Cue Store we managed to raise a fantastic £400 for Katherine House Hospice.
We also have a collection tin on the Bar to continue raising funds for them throughout 2026.
The day was fun and ended with the final being contested by Nigel Powell and Keith Machin, with Keith being victorious 5 frames to 4.

Starting the new year with a new charity to raise funds for, we will be raising money for The Katherine House Hospice. A facility that has looked after so many people in our community and connected to so many of us on a personal level.

So were kicking off with our first event for 2026 with the Andy Schweitzer Charity Shield.
A dear friend of many of us in the pool community, who's memory this event was created for back in 2021, after his passing.

So if you want to join in or just come along and make a donation, you are all very welcome.

Places are limited to 32 players, so please give us a message, call or text to enter. If we are inundated with entrants as we have been in previous years, we will do our best to accommodate.

Help us raise as much as we can, to support a very important part of our community 💗

We would like to say a special thanks to everyone who took part in the Andy Schweitzer charity tournament raising £400 for The Brody Centre, Cancer treatment unit at the Horton General Hospital, Where both of us have received treatment over the past three years 💞
To those that chipped in to name the goat (Scotty) which raised over £96 for cancer research.

And last but not least The Banbury Pool League Members, plus our Table time during the day and all profit on sales in the evening reaching a total of £600 for The Deaf Children's Society

So the total raised for charity in 2025 is £1,096.93.
