Tonight saw our 2017 Colts take a step up into the SBYL 7-a-side development league.

🔴⚫️Game 1 ⚫️🔴
The boys did a superb job rising to the challenge and were very unlucky not to win their first match against Crumlin. The defensive unit were superb, staring Thomas in nets who produced some outstanding saves and started some great attacking plays from the back. Rory was a rock in defence, breaking up play, and Sam made some excellent last gasp tackles and interceptions to get the team moving forward. Reuben bossed the midfield and there was great interplay between him and Caiden, who was a constant threat and managed to finish a great team move to score with a deft touch past the keeper.

🔴⚫️Game 2 🔴⚫️
The boys then really pulled together as a team against a very good St. Oliver Plunket side. Wyatt was solid in nets, giving the team confidence to play out from the back and Jack was brilliant in defence, making some crucial blocks. Meanwhile, Angel was instrumental in breaking up any threats in the middle of the park, tackling everyone in his path, and Eddie producing a complete display balancing defensive tackling and lovely pieces of attacking skill to relieve the pressure and drive the team up the pitch.

🏅Man of the Match
Congratulations to Eddie on his man-of-the-match performance, showing real skill, determination and teamwork across both games
👏 🔴⚫️💪🔥🔥🔥

June is Men’s Mental Health Month❤️

This month is a reminder that mental health matters. Every man faces challenges at some point, and no one should feel they have to carry those struggles alone.

A simple conversation, a quick message, or checking in on a teammate, friend, family member, or fellow supporter can make a huge difference.

It’s OK to talk.
