Last weekend our U9's hosted Nether Green Dynamoes.
What an exciting performance from both teams! Both teams presented good play with the ball, and the goalkeepers had a chance to show their skills. In the first half, two fantastic diagonal passes from Grayson 👏👏 converted into goals by Jan ⚽⚽, and in the second half Jan ⚽ scored another goal, receiving a great pass from Freddie 👏.
Congratulations to our team and our opponents for finishing the game with a fair result for both.

Player of the Match:
Grayson - an always hardworking player, this time he added 2 fantastic assists to his game.
Well done 👏👏💪

On Saturday we travelled to Oakwell to take part in the Flag Bearer Experience at Barnsley FC.

Our players had the opportunity to step out onto a real football pitch, welcoming the players of the home team, Barnsley FC, and the away team, Leicester City, with flags.
Before the match, they had the chance to visit the first-team dressing rooms, the media room, the football commentators' gantry, take a stadium tour, and learn about the club's history.
Afterwards, in fantastic spirits, they watched and cheered on our local team in a very exciting match.
🙂🙂

Massive thanks to Barnsley FC for allowing us this opportunity👏

U9s

Last Sunday we went on a long journey to Chesterfield to play against the local Chesterfield woman's team who's up a year.

It was a tough game against taller and older girls. We swapped it around at half time to a formation they've not done before, so they had some learning to do with it but they did really well adapting to it, We praised all the lads at the end of the match as sometimes it's a rough/tough match and that we need to keep going until the final whistle which is why we are happy today that determination to keep playing to get the happiness and never giving up so well done to the kids for never stopping until final whistle 💪.

Player of the match:

Jan - He showed huge determination, and hard work in front and in defence as well, and chipped in with 3 goals.
⚽⚽⚽

Well done 👏👏

U9 update

Today our u9 team hosted Sheffield Steelers in our first game in the Sheffield league

After some mixed results in pre season as coaches we were unsure what would happen today so we were very pleased to start the game on the front foot with Jan,Freddie,Grayson and Luca starting the first 10 mins with Kris between the sticks there was certainly a little bit of rust in our performance having a couple of weeks without a game

In the second half of the first half we introduced Korren,Tyler,Harrison into the game who all worked hard in the positions

In the second half we got a little more back to the Kendray team that has been improving year on year some great work from the boys and some fantastic goals from Grayson,Harrison (first goals in a Kendray shirt) and Freddie (who doesn't score a tap in) added to Jan's goals in the first half

Full credit to Steelers though they kept creating plenty of chances and if it wasn't for a very strong performance from Kris it could have been a very different morning

Goals from

Jan ⚽⚽
Grayson ⚽
Freddie ⚽
Harrison ⚽

Last Sunday we played a friendly match against our league opponent for the first time.

The match was a lot of fun and full of goals.
The first half was really strong and close. In the second half, we decided to test our kids in different positions, which will help us for the rest of the season.

Unfortunately, the score wasn't on our side, but that wasn't important.
We saw a lot of great passes and running.
Every game—win or lose—helps our kids improve their skills and build match experience.💪💪

We can't wait for our first league game which we will play on Sunday 13th😃😃

Player of the match:

Jan - He showed us lots of running and dribbling, definitely he brought his shooting boots. With great teamwork and fantastic assists from Freddie and Grayson he scored 5 goals⚽⚽⚽⚽⚽
