🌍🏆 OUR WORLD CHAMPIONS ARE BACK! 🏆🌍

The Little Ninjas were SO excited to welcome Coaches Lily and Guyvin back after an incredible weekend, with both of them coming home as WORLD CHAMPIONS! 🥇🔥

What makes it even more special is that Lily and Guyvin both started their kickboxing journeys as children themselves. From being young students learning the basics, to years of training, competing and working hard, they’ve now achieved something they’ve been working towards for so long. ❤️🥊

Now they’re back on the mats coaching our Little Ninjas and showing them exactly what can be achieved through hard work, consistency and believing in yourself!

What incredible role models for our young students to look up to! 👏🌍🏆

Massive congratulations again, Coach Lily & Coach Guyvin! 🥇🥇🔥

🥊❤️ SUPPORTING OUR FIGHT TEAM FROM HOME!

One of the best things about TCA is seeing how much our fight team is supported by our students and their families, even when they can’t be there in person! 🌍🏆

Here’s Ezra, one of our Little Ninjas siblings, absolutely in awe watching Lily become a 3X WORLD CHAMPION! 🥹🥇🥇🥇

These are the moments that show just how much our fighters inspire the younger ones watching back home. Seeing someone they know from the mats competing on the world stage makes those dreams feel that little bit more possible! 🥊🔥

One team. One community. ❤️

🥊 LEVEL ONE PAD HOLDING WORKSHOP COMPLETE! 🥊

A massive well done to everyone who attended our Level One Pad Holding Workshop today! 👏🔥

It was great to see so many of you taking your training to the next level and putting the time into understanding the finer details behind becoming a good pad man.

From positioning and alignment to communication, confidence and creating realistic targets, everyone made some brilliant improvements throughout the workshop. 💥

Pad holding is a skill in itself, and the better we become at holding, the better we can help our training partners develop too! 🥊

Well done everyone! 👏🔥

🥊🔥AMAZING DAY FOR TEAM TCA!🔥🥊

Yesterday our team travelled over to the Combat Academy Sunderland for a fantastic interclub and what a great experience it was for everyone involved! 👊❤️🖤

From athletes stepping out for the very first time, to some of our more advanced fighters getting valuable rounds in, every single person took something away from the day! 💪

Loads of experience gained, plenty of learning, confidence built and most importantly everyone had fun and supported each other throughout! 🙌🥊❤️

A massive shoutout to all of our parents and supporters too! 👏❤️ The backing you give these amazing athletes and the commitment you show travelling to events, cheering them on and supporting the team never goes unnoticed! 🙏🔥

Finally, a huge thank you to Stu Roper and everyone at The Combat Academy Sunderland for hosting such a smooth and well run event! Brilliant atmosphere from start to finish and a great experience for everyone involved! 🙌🔥

Proud of every single person who stepped out yesterday! ❤️🖤🥊

Now we take everything we learned back into the gym and keep improving! 📈💪

Onto the next one! 🥊🔥❤️🖤**

🌍 SONNY GREAVES

𝗨𝗞 #𝟭. 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗟𝗗 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗠𝗣𝗜𝗢𝗡. 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗣𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗧𝗢𝗥. 🏆🌍

Another huge competitive record coming out of TCA Barnsley.

Sonny Greaves holds TWO UK #1 positions in the amateur rankings:

🥇 -63.6kg — UK #1
🥇 -66.8kg — UK #1

Alongside those rankings, Sonny has built an incredible list of achievements on the world stage:

🏆 Unified 65kg World Champion — ISKA/WKA
🌍 ISKA World Champion — 63kg
🌍 ISKA World Champion — 65kg
🌍 ISKA World Champion — 67kg

Sonny’s journey has taken him from Barnsley to Turkey, Germany, Vienna, Australia, Italy, Madeira and Florida, competing on international stages around the world. 🌍

This year alone, he travelled all the way to Florida to fight for an ISKA World Title, representing TCA thousands of miles from home. 🇺🇸

He also travelled to Madeira, where he won another World Title at a different weight — another huge achievement in an already incredible competitive career. 🏆

National rankings. World titles. Semi-professional competition. International stages across the globe.

Sonny’s record is a brilliant example of the level our athletes can reach with talent, commitment and the right people around them.

2× UK #1.
Unified World Champion.
Multiple-weight ISKA World Champion.
Semi-Professional Fighter.

An incredible record to be proud of, with plenty more still to come. 🏆🌍

Congratulations Sonny. ❤️

Training isn’t always serious! 😆

With summer here, our students smashing their gradings, and our fighters putting on incredible performances at Kings of Combat, we thought we’d finish the week by having a bit of fun with some team dodgeball! ☀️🏆

Here’s a clip of Coach Blaine showing everyone exactly why he’s a multi-time World Champion… taking out absolutely everyone in sight! 😂🎯

If he ever decides to retire from kickboxing, at least we know he’d have a solid career waiting for him in professional dodgeball! 🤣

What a turnout for tonight’s sparring session! 👊🔥

While some businesses are closing their doors because of the heat, our Leadership students, Black Belts, and Fight Team were on the mats putting the work in.

At The Combat Academy, one of our core values is embracing challenge. Whether it’s a tough opponent, a hard session, or training in the heat, growth happens when you step outside your comfort zone.

Massive respect to everyone who showed up, worked hard, and set the standard tonight. The energy in the room was incredible! 💪☀️

11/06/2026

A massive well done to Olly who has officially completed our Leadership Programme and is now graduating onto our Black Belt Elite programme! 👏🥋

Olly has shown a fantastic attitude throughout his journey, always asking questions, wanting to improve and already showing that true black belt mindset 💪

He’s currently training alongside our fighters, pushing himself every session and continuing to raise the bar!

The whole coaching team are incredibly proud of everything you’ve achieved so far, Olly. This is only the beginning 🔥

What a way to wrap up Member Appreciation Week! 💥

We were honored to host a world-class seminar with Lee Whitfield – pro champion and one of the UK’s top coaches.

Our members loved it and left with new skills, energy, and inspiration to level up their training! 🥊

And the celebrations aren’t over yet – tomorrow is our Sponsored Fun Day! 🎉 A full day of activities, community, and good vibes. We can’t wait!
