Location: Barnsley/Aqua Baths Children’s Swimming Lessons
Start Date: Friday 4th September 2026

Contract: Permanent, 6 hours per week (Primary shifts on weekends, with weekday options available)

Teaching Rate: £20.00 per hour

Setup/Pack-Away Rate: Minimum wage

Benefits: Paid holiday leave, mostly term-time only with school holidays completely off!

3 Children needed tomorrow (20/07/2026) to make up numbers for a qualification
7-8pm
Ages: 8 years up
Level: Advanced improver

To join this class you must;
Swim 15m front crawl, back crawl & Breaststroke
Be able to do dolphin legs for 5m
Jump in deep water
Tread water for 30s

Lesson will cover Butterlfy & Rescue skills, 2nd half unknown but could include diving, rescue skills, survial skills.

This week we will be taking part in drowning prevention week. Lessons will look different this week, we will teach our swimmers the water safety code and float to live. We will also discuss the dangers of open water and cold water shock.
