As we celebrate National Volunteers Week, we want to shine a well-deserved spotlight on the people who make this club what it is. Without your tireless commitment and dedication, our community club simply wouldn’t exist.

From our passionate coaches who give up evening after evening to develop players of all ages, to the ever-reliable gate crew who greet every visitor with a smile; from the Tuesday grounds team who keep our pitches in pristine condition week in, week out, to the many unsung heroes working behind the scenes on kit, catering, fundraising, admin, and maintenance—this list could go on forever.

There are far too many of you to name individually, but please know that every single hour you give, every rainy Tuesday evening, every early morning setup, and every late-night clean-up does not go unnoticed.

You are the heartbeat of Barnstaple Rugby Club. Thank you for your loyalty, your energy, and your love for the game and our community.

We couldn’t do it without you. Thank you all.

Barnstaple Rugby Club memberships for the 2026/27 season are officially open. And this isn't just any season – 2027 marks our 150th birthday,150 years of Barum rugby. Let that sink in.

Barnstaple Rugby Football Club UPDATE from Director of Rugby PHIL GORDON-OKE

With the season now well and truly over, we are pleased to say that, apart from the retiring Jake Murphy, we have retained the vast majority of the senior squad for next season.

We’ll also be adding a few new faces to the group, which we’ll be announcing over the coming weeks.

As things stand, the squad is locked in and ready to go again next season, with a few exciting additions still to come.
