It’s matchday for our Real Bedford Dev Team as they hit the road this Sunday!

The Dev Team travel to face Hitchin Belles in the Eastern Region Women’s Football League – Division One North, looking to build on their 2–2 draw with Dunstable last weekend.

A tough away test awaits, but the team will be ready to battle for all three points.

Despite a tough day in the heat yesterday for the Raiders first tournament together, the Girls battled all day to come out on top, unbeaten in all 7 matches and not conceding a single goal.

Well done Girls. Proud of you all.

What a day! ☀️🔥

Playing in blistering heat, the girls put in a brilliant performance from start to finish. Their attitude, work rate and teamwork were excellent all day.

The football they played was a joy to watch—great passing, plenty of chances, and some excellent strikes on goal. They stayed composed, worked hard for each other, and showed how much they’ve developed as a team.

Winning two penalty shootouts was the perfect way to finish the day. It takes confidence to step up in those moments, and every player handled the pressure brilliantly.

Really proud of every single one of the girls. The results were great, but even more impressive was their effort, teamwork, and determination throughout the tournament.
