We are a section of Stewartby Water Sports Club, which also has angling, sailing & water ski-ing fac All members can enjoy these facilities. Aged Between 9 โ€“ 16?

The club is situated within a secure compound with excellent views across the lake. We have a camping field with electric hook-ups and a BBQ area The club house has changing rooms with showers and toilets as well as a Bar, Galley and a large social area. Our lone catamaran charging around the course was Tom Thwaites, pushing his Rookie Racer F4 entry to the limit as he seized every second of water time to trial propellers, dial in setups, and carve out fast, confident lines with real intent.

Hydros โ€“ British Masters Championship 2026

Round 2 Points Summary

The Hydros class delivered an eventful and unpredictable Round 2 at Stewartby, with only two heats completed before racing was halted. Despite the shortened programme, all four competitors showed commitment and competitive spirit, making the most of the limited track time.

Thomas Mantripp ( #12) secured the overall lead with 700 points, opening the day with a strong heat win followed by a solid second place in Heat 2. His early pace proved decisive once the remaining heats were marked as not run.

In second place, Wayne Turner ( #9) delivered an impressive Heat 2 victory after a challenging start, earning 569 points and demonstrating excellent adaptability across changing conditions.

Paul Hart ( #55) finished third with 525 points, maintaining consistency across both heats with a second and third place. His steady approach kept him well positioned in the standings.

James Green ( #19) completed the table with 225 points, securing third place in Heat 1 before the schedule was cut short. His performance showed promise despite the reduced running.

With testing and training completed on Day 1 and Round 2 curtailed on Day 2, the Hydros class will look ahead to future rounds for further opportunities to build momentum. Ben Sallis ( #64) secured the overall win with 1200 points, delivering three consecutive heat victories after a solid second place in Heat 1. His consistency and speed across the day made him the standout performer in the class.

Finishing second, Ben Prewer ( #73) opened the day with a commanding heat win, but a zero point Heat 2 forced him to fight back through the remaining races. His recovery, including a second place in Heat 4, earned him 925 points and demonstrated real determination.

In third place, Jason Mantripp ( #51) delivered a steady and reliable performance, securing 825 points through a balanced set of second and third place finishes. His consistency kept him firmly in contention throughout the day.

Brodie Lane ( #27) completed the standings with 563 points, showing commitment across all four heats. Despite challenging conditions, she maintained focus and delivered a determined performance from start to finish.
