Why Bedwas Blaze?
Bedwas RFC is a club with a proven track record of success, ambition and player development across every level of the game. Our coaching team will be joining an environment where progression, performance and community are already deeply embedded within the club culture.
Bedwas Athletic have enjoyed significant success in recent seasons, winning Dragons League for four consecutive years and continuing to challenge for further progression. This achievement reflects the strength of the club's development pathway and commitment to nurturing talent.
The Bedwas RFC First XV has established itself as one of the leading sides in Welsh rugby. After competing in the Championship for several seasons and consistently challenging at the top end of the table, the team secured promotion to the WRU Premiership following an exceptional 2025/26 campaign, losing just one league fixture throughout the season.
Beyond the success of our senior teams, Bedwas RFC is proud of the outstanding potential emerging from our Mini and Junior sections. With strong participation levels and talented young players progressing through the age groups, the club is committed to creating clear pathways from grassroots rugby into senior rugby for both male and female players.
As we continue to develop Bedwas Blaze Women's Rugby, this role presents an exciting opportunity to help build a thriving women's programme within a successful and ambitious club. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the future of women's rugby at Bedwas RFC, helping to create opportunities for current and future generations of female players to participate, develop and succeed.
