Our story began with three sons and their dad, Big Joe.
The three brothers started their Jujitsu journey, and their dad soon got involved too. What began as something for the family grew into a passion that would shape all of their lives.
๐ All three sons went on to achieve their Black Belts.
One of those sons went on to become a school teacher, taking the values of discipline, confidence and perseverance that he had learned through Jujitsu into his career.
Another son met his future wife through the club. She was actually Big Joeโs very first student to earn her own Black Belt. โค๏ธ
And then thereโs Joseph, who continued training alongside Big Joe and went on to become a Sensei, teaching and helping to grow the club alongside his dad. He is now working towards his 4th Dan Black Belt.
At the heart of it all is Big Joe, now a 6th Dan Master Black Belt, who has dedicated years to teaching, training and building a club that has become so much more than somewhere to learn martial arts.
It became a family.
Then it became a community.
And since 2009, that family and community has continued to grow. ๐ฅ
From one dad and his three sonsโฆ
to generations of students who have walked through our doors, built confidence, learned self-defence, made lifelong friendships and discovered a love for Jujitsu.
This is more than a martial arts club.
This is our family. โค๏ธ๐ฅ
And this is only the beginning of the next chapter.
