If anyone out there knows their way around metal roofs and guttering and fancies coming to our rescue, we’d be forever grateful! 🙏

Until we can fundraise to get the roof properly fixed and return the doorway to its formal glory, we’ve literally built internal guttering to collect the drips for our Juke Yard community garden.

Dancers turned engineers… because apparently that’s what we do now. 😂

We don’t mind dancing in lots of places…but we really don’t like dancing in the rain. 😳💃

So if you know someone who might be able to help, please send them our way…we’d love to save our dance shoes from getting a proper soaking! 😂🙏

So proud of our Sunday Solo Blues class this term 💙

They wanted a challenge… and they definitely got one! This choreo by Edmilson Botelho is full of isolations, rhythm changes and plenty to get the brain & body working 😂

This week at The Juke Yard was all about getting the space ready for Autumn/Winter 🍂

A bit of bulb planting, adding some colour with winter flowers and generally getting things ready for the colder months.

Sometimes it’s hard to believe that this group of volunteers have built all of this from absolutely nothing in just 10 months! 💚

Lots of hard work (and plenty of laughs) has gone into it… and it’s looking pretty good!

This autumn, make space for something enjoyable in your week... learn a new skill, get moving, enjoy a film, spend time outdoors or join an interesting conversation.

Our Autumn Programme offers relaxed, welcoming ways to take part in shared activities and meet people naturally along the way.

Our social dance classes begin from 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟮𝟴 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿, with daytime, evening and weekend opportunities to explore Blues, Swing and Jazz. The music is our leader!

You don’t need to consider yourself a dancer, bring a partner or know anyone before you arrive. Our classes are beginner-friendly, and many people come along on their own.

There are three ways to take part:

Free daytime classes for adults who prefer daytime opportunities.

Donation-based evening classes open to all adults.
