Sometimes the problem is not the opponent.

It is not the crowd either.

It is the meaning your mind gives the moment.

The pressure rises.

You become more self conscious.

You start thinking more.

Then your reactions slow and your decisions get worse.

The skill is still there.

The goal is learning to access it while the pressure is high.

If this is something you struggle with, message me PRESSURE.

A lot of fighters are ready physically before competition.

The problem is what changes when the pressure becomes real.

Self doubt.

Shallower breathing.

More tension.

More thinking.

Less flow.

That does not automatically mean you need more training.

Sometimes you need to train how your mind and body respond when the moment gets bigger.

If this sounds familiar, message me READY.

If you can already perform well in training, you may not need somebody to create confidence for you.

You may need to remove the things that interfere with it when the pressure rises.

Overthinking.

Hesitation.

Self doubt.

Trying too hard to control everything.

The fighter is already there.

The work is helping that fighter show up when it matters.

If this sounds familiar, message me INTERFERENCE.

23/10/2026

I asked fighters what changes first when they perform differently on fight night.

The answers were almost evenly split between:

Nerves.

Hesitation.

Overthinking.

That matters because simply saying you need more confidence can miss the real problem.

The important question is:

What changes first for you when the pressure becomes real?

Find that first domino and you have something specific to work on.

If you have a fight coming up and want help identifying what is getting in the way, message me FIGHTER.

Hesitation does not always mean a fighter is scared.

Sometimes the pressure changes the way they make decisions.

Instead of seeing and reacting…

they start checking.

Thinking.

Waiting for certainty.

That tiny delay can completely change how they perform.

If you know you become more cautious on fight night than you are in training, message me BRAKES.

I recently asked fighters what changes first when fight night feels different from training.

The answers were split between nerves, hesitation and overthinking.

That matters because the problem is not always simply confidence.

For one fighter it may be nerves.

For another it may be hesitation.

For another it may be the moment they start thinking instead of reacting.

Find the first domino and you have something specific to work on.

If you have a fight coming up and want help identifying what is getting in your way, message me FIGHTER.

Sometimes the nerves are not the first problem.

They are the result of something that happened just before.

A thought.

A doubt.

A moment of uncertainty.

Then the breathing changes.

The body tightens.

The mind gets busier.

That sequence matters because if you can identify the first domino, you know what you actually need to work on.

If fight night self doubt changes how you perform, message me DOUBT.

I’ve opened a few spaces for fighters who want to work on the mental side of performance.

If you are better in training than on fight night, or you struggle with nerves, hesitation, confidence or overthinking under pressure, that is exactly the kind of work I specialise in.

Sessions are online via Zoom, so location is not an issue.

If you have a fight coming up and want to start working on this now rather than leaving it until fight week, message me FIGHTER.

17/10/2026

83% of fighters who answered my poll said they train better than they fight.

That is a huge performance gap.

If you can already perform well in training, the ability is there.

The question is what changes when the pressure becomes real.

Nerves, hesitation, overthinking and self doubt can all interfere with performance.

That is exactly why the mental side of fight camp matters.

Message me FIGHTER if this sounds like you.
