🏉 A Huge Thank You From All of Us 🏉
What a fantastic day, and a huge thank you to everyone who played a part in making our charity rugby event such a success.
Firstly, our sincere thanks to Coventry Saracens RFC community events. for hosting us, and to all of their supporters, members and the wider community who made us feel so welcome throughout the day.
Thank you to every player who pulled on a shirt, everyone who helped organised the event, the officials, volunteers, supporters, families and friends who came along and supported us. Days like this simply don’t happen without people giving their time and getting behind the cause.
The generosity shown was incredible.
👏 At the William Webb Ellis Lodge meeting that morning, we collected £100
👏 During the rugby match and afterwards, an amazing £440 was collected.
And then came an extraordinary contribution from the Warwickshire Provincial Grand Lodge who presented a check for an incredible £5,000
That brings the total raised on the day to a fantastic £5,540 ❤️
Every donation, whether it was a few pounds dropped into a collection bucket or that incredible £5,000 contribution, played its part.
More importantly, the day showed exactly what rugby, Freemasonry and our local communities can achieve when people come together for a good cause.
To Coventry Saracens, Warwickshire Provincial Grand Lodge, William Webb Ellis Lodge, every player, volunteer, supporter and everyone who donated — thank you.
You should all be incredibly proud of what we achieved together.
🏉🤝❤️ £5,540 raised — one fantastic day and one fantastic community.
