We work to support communities to select and host live arts events on their doorstep. We are passionate about enabling people to feel that the arts are for them, on their own terms. We produce our own projects, but very happy to talk through ideas and collaborate.

Get ready to meet Khooghi—a very special red-collared dove with an incredible story to tell! 🌟
Join us for a beautiful, family-friendly performance of a traditional Kashmiri folk tale, brought to life through the magic of toy theatre. Featuring over 30 fabulous puppets, live music, and song, this show celebrates hope, faith, and history. Whether you're a fan of puppetry or looking for a magical escape, this is an experience for the whole family!

✨ Get ready for a whole new way to window shop! 🎨
We’ve commissioned local artist and illustrator Cath Ford to transform shop windows across the southern half of Blackburn town centre into a stunning art trail! 🪟✨
This is art with a twist—literally on the windows! From Geek Retreat and Exchange Coffee to Ainsworth Jewellers and Hobkirks, come and explore Blackburn’s heritage through Cath’s fresh, colourful lens. 🖌️✨
Ready to join the quest?
🗺️ Here’s how to start:
1️⃣ Pick up a quiz sheet from the Visitor Centre at the Market, The Ask Me Station in The Mall, Blackburn Central Library, or any participating shop or cafe.
2️⃣ Start your journey at the Blackburn Market Arts Space.
3️⃣ Explore the southern half of the town centre (including Darwen Street) and see if you can find all of Cath's amazing illustrations!
📅 Launch Day: Saturday 1st August 2026
The trail runs all summer long, so grab your family, follow the map, and see if you can collect them all! 👣🤩
