Clifton Rangers JFC under 11 girls - Wasps

On Sunday we got to the final and played at Fleetwood Town Stadium. We may have lost on penalties, but every girl gave everything in the match and did an amazing job, especially against a much stronger team.

We are so proud of every girl for the effort they’ve put in, the improvement they’ve shown, and the real difference each one has made in becoming the team we are today.

Football is for everyone, and every girl makes a difference no matter their strengths or weaknesses. Each player has played an important part in this journey.

Last game of the season . Another great game that was so competitive. Big thanks to Harriet and Betsy again. Both were excellent in goal and outfield.

We gave girl of the game to Erin her work rate off the ball and positioning in multiple positions is just consistent week after week. Unlucky not to score as well.
The parent player was Daisy with Betsy also being close. Daisy's pressing and dribbling was excellent. Covered for the defenders well also

Great game and win against CN sports 7-2 . we passed the ball well today and created loads of chances because of it. So we had Willow with a hat trick (one was a bit special!), Scarlett 2, Emily and Betsy with 1 each.

Alice received girl of the game and Jasmine parents player. Both really for the same reason for playing very well against 2 very good wingers for the 2nd week running. Well done both.

Some of the Clifton Under 11 Girls Wasps had the privilege of watching the Blackpool vs Exeter game at Blackpool Stadium. PH3 organised a fantastic event with great food, walk out on the pitch with the captain. What more could you ask for!

19/04/26- great game competitive game against Lostock . lost Emily before kick off as she fell over and Ava early in the game so this did hamper us somewhat. Me and Alex decided to go 4 at the back because as you probably saw Lostock are a good side so we wanted to protect Alia a bit more. Alia was parent player I love how calm she has been since returning and some top saves. We gave Scarlett girl of the game for the effort in the middle of the park.

Like last week though every girl who played in defence put a shift in. Erin F for example who sometimes you forget is a year younger was up against their best player most of the 2nd half but never gave in. Jas and Alice were also up against good players but stuck at it.

It's great practice for the final though and we will continue working with the girls on Wednesday

Firstly a big thanks to Michael⁩ for running the line and bringing Harriet as he did want to set off on holidays this morning but Harriet wanted to play. And another committed performance from Harriet deserving her parents player award. Thanks all for the support and Falc ⁩ for the Easter eggs.

I don't think we could have done much more with no subs today. I thought 1st half was pretty even and they edged the 2nd but their centre back played really well. However we nearly equalised at the end which shows again the girls don't give up.
I gave Alia girl of the game. Very good performance in that wind and I could also hear her telling the girls to mark and shouting for the ball not to mention some excellent catches.

Proud of them all though as we asked alot in tough conditions.

WOW !! What a cup game this morning, from being 3-0 down at halftime. Then the 2nd half the girls had a mountain to climb and prove us all wrong by Wining 4-3 in last 10 minutes. With a Brilliant hat trick from Willow who we gave her girl of the game for and Ava parents player for her sheer tenacity. So proud of the girls you are amazing !!!!! Thanks DPD UK for sponsorships.

Cup game . Through to the next round from a penalty shootout. Score 2-2 and penalty 2-1. Thanks for the support today and with it being a cup game and I had 4 subs.

Really proud of how Betsy and Harriet did again. Betsy didn't let a goal in and Harriet was so calm during the shoot out.

All the girls worked really hard . Proud of them all though for going right to the end. Goals from Ava and Willow and sorry but I didn't give awards out today it was too difficult.
