Both girls were back in action in the 200m Breaststroke. Romilly showed great progress over the front end of the race, producing a stronger opening speed to finish 19th overall. Caidee delivered another excellent performance, qualifying for the final before stepping up again with improved breathing control and race skills to finish 5th overall.
The final swim of this year’s championships came in the 800m Freestyle, where Romilly produced a brilliantly controlled and well-paced performance. Holding her stroke together superbly through the closing stages, she effectively negative split the race by a second to secure a long course personal best and an outstanding 8th place finish.💙❤️
A fantastic way for both girls to close out a strong week of racing and development. 💪🏊♀️

Day 6 of the South West Champs earned more long course progress from Romilly and Caidee, with the pair delivering 4 long course PBs from 5 swims across the day. 🔥
The girls kicked things off in the 200m Freestyle, both lowering their best times and climbed the rankings with strong front-end speed and improved race control.
Romilly was quickly back in action in the 100m Backstroke, narrowly missing out on another PB before bouncing back brilliantly in the 100m Breaststroke to take 1.5 seconds off her previous best time.
Caidee followed in the same event with a huge swim, taking over 3 seconds off her previous long course best to qualify for the final. Going into the event ranked 13th, she stepped up again in the evening to finish an impressive 6th overall. 👏
A massive well done to both girls for the attitude, resilience and racing shown❤️💙.
The final day now awaits, with both swimmers taking on the 200m Breaststroke, before Romilly rounds off the championships in the 800m Freestyle. 💪🏊♀️

There is always a win in the learning, even when the result doesn’t quite land yet. Day 5 of the Championships saw Mila step up in the 50m butterfly. Off the back of a weekend showing clear improvements in her performance behaviours, she put together a strong, committed swim to finish 26th.
Not every success shows up in the results sheet, but the progress is happening. Well done Mila 💪❤️💙
