Richard Hessletine rolled back the years breaking into a fast walk on a couple of occasions and we had the great sight of Louie Bateman charging down the wing for a try, just though on the wrong side of the cones.
Chris Baker was charging at everybody to try take them out, just missing the player by 2 minutes and Johnny Turpin was out early making sure everybody was warmed up correctly.
It was great to see both young, old, male and female all joining in for a great run around.

Good luck to Birkenshaw Junior Harvey Bateman who makes his debut for the Bradford Bulls Academy tonight.

Harvey started with Birkenshaw as an u6 going through to the u16s. Harvey is a perfect example of a player who has been rewarded for his hard work, drive and dedication.

It’s also good to see another fellow Birky junior on the team sheet in the shape of Dylan Keenan 🙌

Touch and Pass this Friday 6.30-730 at East Bierley Playing. This is part of our Come Try It month during August here at Birkenshaw BlueDogs.

This is open to old and young and is a great way to have fun while improving your health and well-being.

A big shout out to our U11's who this evening did something a little different in training taking part in a grappling session at Planet Fitness Bradford. All the kids did themselves proud giving it 100% effort throughout.

It's great to see the team growing in size as the ready themselves for competitive Rugby next season at U12's.

If your interested in your child trying Rugby League its Try It Month at the Birkenshaw BLUEDOGS throughout August. Its free to come along and give it a go with no obligation to join us.

The u18s continue to strengthen ahead of next season, this time adding to their coaching squad.

We are delighted to announce that Seb Stuart will be joining Damian Smith and Johnny Turpin in the coaching team.

Seb will be a vital link for the team having gone through the Birkenshaw system, captaining the u18s previously. Seb is a leader and will be able to use his experience to help support the team.

We look forward to making player announcements as the team continues to build with retentions, returning players and new players 🤝⭐️
