The u18s rebuild continues and we are delighted to welcome back our u17s to the team 🔵⚪️

The team guided by Andy Hirst and Nathan Graham won countless Bradford Cups stormed to the division 2 title and competed well in the top division throughout their junior years.

It was a huge step for the club to get back our juniors, some of whom have played for the club for over 10 years, but had to move to other clubs to play rugby this year.
We can’t wait to see them back in the blue and white.

Sam Wells Preston was a main stay in the open age this year and will be joined by his returning team mates, James Hirst, Stanley Piper, Sam Brierley, Issac Graham, Charlie Pryzbal and Cole Moran ⭐️

The team is shaping up nicely with some new signings to announce and an exciting chapter for the club with players making the move from Queensland Australia.

The team are still recruiting with training dates to be announced. If you are interested, please message the page 🏉

As promised here is the link to the game between our U15 Girls and the touring Wanderers Australia from Friday

A massive thank to the Wanderers Australia for letting us be part of their tour to England. It was great opportunity for our Girls to play against some very talented young players. We may have lost out on the night but what a great evening we all had thank you 💛💚

💙🤍 Birkenshaw Bluedogs 9s Match Report 🤍💙

Today the 9s travelled away to Batley & Shaw Cross, and with a few of our players away playing football, we were short on numbers — but that certainly didn’t stop this team! 💪🏉

Every single player gave it their all from start to finish, putting in a fantastic effort and showing exactly what the Bluedogs are all about. There were plenty of big tackles, brilliant line defence, great teamwork and some fantastic sportsmanship throughout the game. 👏

Playing with fewer numbers isn’t easy, but the team dug deep, supported each other and never gave up. We couldn’t be prouder of the effort from every one of them! 💙

🏆 Player of the Match: Frankie
👨‍👩‍👧 Parents’ Player: Theo
🏉 Coaches’ Award: Owen
💥 Top Tackler: Theo
👏 Opposition Player: Frankie

Well done, 9s — another brilliant team effort! 💙🤍
