⛳️ Branshaw East Coast Golf Trip 2026 ⛳️

The Branshaw East Coast trip began with a toast to the memory of John Head, who sadly passed away last year. John was a valued member of previous trips and was fondly remembered by everyone.

This year's tour took in three excellent courses: Saltburn-by-the-Sea Golf Club, Seaton Carew Golf Club, and Bedale Golf Club.

Congratulations to Duncan Bairstow, who was crowned overall winner and presented with the trophy by last year's champion, Paul Hollindrake.

The 12 players enjoyed great golf, fantastic camaraderie, plenty of laughs, and the usual banter throughout the trip.

A big thank you to Jerry and Terry for their excellent organisation, helping to make another memorable Branshaw golf tour.

🎉 Hole in One

Congratulations to Branshaw member Wade Metcalfe, who recorded his first-ever hole in one on Tuesday evening at the 18th hole!
Wade, a double amputee has been a member at Branshaw for 6 years and plays on average 4 times per week. Wade used his trusty 9 wood to secure his ace. Wade said his playing partner Fin was more excited than him. ⛳

Branshaw was delighted to host an international visiting party last week 🌍⛳

The group included players from Germany, Switzerland, the Philippines, Vietnam, South Africa, Honduras and Canada.

Branshaw was course number 15 on their incredible journey of playing 16 courses around Yorkshire in just 8 days.

Roland and the party received a warm Branshaw welcome and thoroughly enjoyed the course. After a well-earned lunch, they headed off to complete their final stop — course number 16 at Halifax (Ogden).
