10 years on the mat!
Zach has been training with us since he was just 6 years old. He came up through the junior program, and while many kids dropped away over the years, Zach kept showing up.

Eventually he became the biggest kid in his class, so the next step was throwing him in with the adults. That transition wasn’t easy. There were plenty of tough rounds where Zach was the nail, not the hammer, and that can take its toll. But he never quit.

Over the years, Zach has competed, winning some (including the Elite bjj Euros) and losing some and every time, he got back up and kept going.

Now, at just 16 years old, after 10 years on the mats, Zach has been awarded his adult blue belt. We’re looking forward to seeing what this year brings for him.

Zach is a perfect example of what can be achieved through hard work, discipline, dedication, and a genuine love for Jiu Jitsu. 🥋💙
