Both blue bears u9s and u10s entered downend tournemeant this weekend and both came out winners winning the plate final in their prospective age groups,a great achievement and a brilliant weekend

So far u10s have made it to 6 finals (including a boys one) out of 7 tournemeants winning a plate and a cup

The u13s entered 2 tournaments this wkd with 2 separate teams playing each day, at downend on Saturday the girls topped a very hard group but unfortunately in the q/f we couldn’t quite find the break through and went out on dreaded penalties, today the other half of the squad travelled down to westbury. After coming through the group the girls upped the level and won the semi final 4-0, the girls took on blunsdon in the final and the girls literally chucked everything at them with blunsdon barely coming in our half. The game went to penalties again and unfortunately came out the wrong side of a penalty shootout for the 2nd time in 2 days, across the 2 days we only conceded 2 goals in 12 tournament matches just couldn’t quite get that tournament win. 6 cup finals out of 7 tournaments for the girls this summer so far which is amazing achievement, penalties can do 1

Another tournament win for the u13s today making it back to back tournament wins and 5 finals on the bounce down ilchester, where they didn’t really find top gear in the group stages losing 2 matches. The girls then upped their level in the semis and final beating both teams they lost to in the group 1-0 in semis and then 2-0 in the final, these girls just love winning trophies 🏆🏆🏆

The u13s finally take down a tournament this summer, after 3 near misses they went down to Bridgewater and and got to there 4th final out of 4. This time tho the girls had enough of losing and completely smashed generation elite a jpl team in the final, in a completely 1 sided final that finished 3- 0. 15 goals scored and only 1 conceded and taking out 2 jpl teams in the process, so proud of these amazing bunch of girls 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
