ACE SEASON IS HERE!

Last week our ACE girls started their league season away at Loughborough, a tough place to play and the girls didn’t manage to get the win. All credit to a strong away side. Great to see so many debuts, on to the next!

Thank you Poppy W for the pictures 📸

🌹 ENGLAND CAMP FOR ACE CAPTAIN 🌹

Ben willoughby smith was this weekend selected to attend the England Rugby U18s Front 5 positional camp at Loughborough University.

The weekend included various elements of S&C testing, scrum, lineout and carry skills along with small sided games.

Ben has shown amazing dedication and drive since arriving at SGS being named both Captain of SGS and in recognition of these skills and his on field performances.

An amazing opportunity and we know it won’t be the last, well done BWS 🐶

🐶 DOUBLE DEBUT FOR OUR SGS ALUMNI 🐶

Congrats to Mya Walker-Humphreys and Grace keel who will make their PWR Cup Debuts for Bristol Bears Women and Harlequins Women 🃏 respectively.

Different journeys to this point. Mya has spent 10 years playing over 100 games for high flying local championship club North Bristol Ladies🔵🔴🔵 with current SGS coach Ellie Marston - Mulhearn. Showing the strength of rugby in the Bristol area and the pathway North have created.

Grace keel a far more recent graduate is combining University study with her rugby at Quins, showcasing another strong pathway option from the college setting.

Well done both of you, the college is very proud
