Introducing our new digital matchday programme

This season, we’re doing things a little differently.

Our new digital matchday programme is designed to be immersive, interactive and dynamic - bringing together the latest club news, match information, player profiles, live matchday updates and plenty more in an experience we hope supporters will enjoy exploring.

Even if you don’t normally read the programme, we’d encourage you to give this one a try. It’s much more than a collection of static pages — you can browse the matchday squad, discover more about the players, explore the club’s history and interact with features throughout.

You can also predict the final score. Everyone who submits a correct prediction will be entered into a draw to win free entry to our next home match.

Have a look, explore, make your prediction - and let us know what you think.

The matchday programme, reimagined.

🔴 Red Extreme Heat Warning — the Met Office has issued its highest-level heat warning for our region, 9am Wed 24th – 9pm Thu 25th June, with temps up to 40°C.

As most will know, we'd already taken the precautionary step earlier this week of telling all teams there's no training this week.

Stay hydrated, keep out of the midday sun, and look after each other. Stay safe! ☀️

Following the red weather warning which has been issued, we have some guidance for training and friendlies taking place during this time.

We strongly recommend that no training or fixtures take place, when temperature's exceed 30°C.

⚽ What a day! ⚽

Today we hosted our very first ever 3v3 Festival at Ironmould Lane - and we absolutely loved it! 🙌

There's something brilliant about the small-sided game: more touches, more goals, more smiles. The kids threw themselves into every minute of it, and you only had to look at the red cheeks and beaming faces at the end to know they loved it just as much as we did. 😄

A huge thank you to everyone who made it happen — our volunteers, coaches and of course all the parents who came down to cheer the young ones on. Days like this are exactly what grassroots football is all about. ❤️🖤

Here's to the first of many!

Message from Club Secretary, Phil Wiltshire...

What a weekend. Another incredible Brislington Juniors Tournament done for another year.

Every year I think I understand just how much work goes into making this happen… and every year I’m reminded all over again.

The amount of effort that goes in behind the scenes in the weeks leading up to tournament weekend to get the site looking its absolute best is unbelievable. So many people give up evenings, weekends and countless hours to make sure we can host what I genuinely believe is one of the very best grassroots tournaments in the region.

I don't like naming individuals because there are simply too many special people that make this event what it is - and I’d hate to miss anyone - but I do have to make a few exceptions.

Firstly to our Chairman, Craig Dixon - thank you for your leadership and for setting such a brilliant example to everyone around the club.

And to Susie Head - another absolute driving force behind the tournament. The amount of effort, commitment and relentless energy you put in to make the weekend the success it is deserves huge recognition.

And finally to Lou… my sidekick in the Control Tent all weekend and one of those people who is simply irreplaceable in the amazing Bris Juniors tournament machine. Calm under pressure, endlessly dependable and always there when needed.

A huge thank you as well to our referees. We ask a lot of them across the weekend and they delivered once again. It was also a genuinely proud moment for many of us at the club to see an all-girls officiating team take charge of the U14 Cup Final - a brilliant reflection of the opportunities being created in the game.

And while there are so many names worthy of recognition, I do have to mention Gavin Nott - who continues to blow us away with both the standard of his officiating and his communication skills. To see that level at just 18 years old is seriously impressive.

To all of the families, volunteers, coaches, committee members, stall teams, helpers and everyone else who rolled their sleeves up and got stuck in - thank you. The amount people gave over the weekend was incredible.

Of course, the weather played its part too (again, we seem to regularly have the football gods on our side).

And because this is football, there are always curve balls. This year certainly threw up a few new scenarios to deal with - but I’m proud of how we handled them, with care, teamwork and dignity.

I’m incredibly proud to be part of this wonderful event.

And knowing me… by tomorrow (or maybe next week)… I’ll already be looking forward to doing it all again next year ⚽❤️🖤

Phil x
