Justrun food bank run night.

Thanks to all of our runners who’ve donated to the food bank today, and those who couldn’t make tonight’s run and will drop by in the week instead.

Your donations will help others get by with a little help from friends.

We were treated to pink clouds at our warm up and a mysterious full moon shrouded in clouds on our cool down. Overall a lush run with some trademark Frenchay hills to get our hearts going.

Tomorrow evening we'll be doing a food bank run, with running routes heading to Co-op in Downend where runners can donate an item or buy something in store.

Friday fun club / sprints club!!

Mostly we run on Mondays & more recently on Fridays too. Our sprint sessions are suitable for all distances of runners and are really great if you’re looking to improve your speed and stamina.

Word on the street is that this week the session will include 7 hills, you know the ones, over there by the hilly fields…

It was a gorgeous golden sunset evening so I popped over to check them out. Here’s some of the views you can glimpse if you join the Friday session this week.

It’s that time of year to fill your pockets full of sunshine ☀️

Whether that’s carrying a hand held torch 🔦 or wearing a running light which shine white on the front and red on your back, now’s the time to dig out your batteries or charge up your lights so you’re not caught out next Monday evening when the sun goes down at 19:28!

Wearing hi vis 🦺 running clothes also improves your visability for other runners and road users, making your run safer.

Congrats to Hayley & Sara who get to share our member of the month trophy! 🎉🏆👏

They joined our 2 mile group, progressed to 3 miles, took on the challenge of the 5-10k course and are absolutely smashing in their running since! Always eager and ready for their runs each week, giving us all motivation to keep going!

There’s no stopping them now!!
