The 2026/27 Bristol Combination League U18's squad came together at the Maxi Lounge for an evening of team building ahead of the new season, around 50 players, families and coaches in attendance, the evening welcomed both our returning second-year players and our new first-years into the Yate Town family.

We were also delighted to welcome a number of Yate United U16 players, who will continue representing Yate United throughout the coming season while training regularly with Yate Town's U18s.

This initiative further strengthens the player pathway between Yate United and Yate Town, ensuring young players can develop within a joined-up environment and are fully prepared for the step into U18 football and, ultimately, senior football.

A huge thank you to everyone at the Maxi Lounge for hosting a fantastic evening and helping us launch the season in style.

We would like to thank Nuno, Richard and Ben for all the effort that have given during their time with us and we wish them nothing but the best in their next endeavours.

We would also like to welcome Alan Bull and Josh Millman who join ahead of this upcoming season.

Nuno and Rich were both part of the coaching staff that saw the club win the 2024/2025 Southern League Division One South and will always be remembered for being part of the title winning season.

Ben has spent the previous two seasons with the club having originally came to the club as a student and was also a part of the team that won the title, before taking up the position last season, proving how much of an asset he was to the club.

Alan Bull joins the coaching staff as goalkeeping coach ahead of the 2026/27 season. Bull has previously worked with, Frome Town, Clevedon Town, Mangotsfield United, Weston super-Mare, Weymouth amongst others as well.

Josh Millman becomes this seasons Physio having just completed his university degree this summer.
